We're sisters - learning to live in Washington - and both dreaming of ways to earn money without working. We love all things Harry Connick Jr., and anything with chocolate in it. We need to keep in better contact with our family living far and near. So here is our attempt at sharing our lives with you. Hope you have a good time!

Neither of us are dead
I don't know why Amy hasn't posted - I keep reminding her. I just have nothing exciting to say or any pictures to post. I'm looking forward to school being out - it's not May yet. Last week I got to tour the new Issaquah High School. I will probably be teaching there next year, when the 9th graders return to the high school campus. The best part is that purple is one of the school colors - and I look good in Purple!!!!

Amy needs a speaker
Amy needs an awesome keynote speaker for the "age focused" (that means 27-45ish) single adult conference she is in charge of. Her orginial plan fell through - so if you know someone or have some strings you can pull - let us know! All appropriate ideas welcome! At least I hope so since she doesn't know I'm posting this-hopefully she won't get mad.

Amy is not dead.
Amy says she will post soon. I'm not sure if I believe it - but there are 7 more school days until Spring Break. Yes I'm counting.

Back to the Grind
I've had the last week off. They call it Mid-Winter Break and while I would rather get out of school earlier at the end of the year, I needed the week off. I kept busy doing some cleaning and sewing and watching Curling at the Olympics. I still don't know exactly how curling works, but I want some of those Norewegian men's curling pants.
